How modern companies steal your ideas
Without any hesitation, I fully understand that this post will instantly cut off a massive chunk of people who do this and who are currently my connections, so yeah, GFU guys, and here’s why

Recently I wrote about test tasks from job interviews being used to solve real work problems that companies either can’t figure out themselves or simply don’t want to pay for, and how this strange practice somehow became normalised and even defended
But there’s another side of the same problem
There are tons of not-so-kind people who constantly scream across Telegram channels and Instagram reels that you MUST copy successful ideas and just repost them from your own accounts, meaning that if a scheme worked for someone else, then of course it will work for you as well
You’ve heard this rage-bait and clickbait a thousand times
COPY ME
JUST COPY ME
That’s exactly what I’m talking about
And for me, this is not a small issue or a personal dislike, it’s a real systemic problem. We live in a world where almost any piece of information can be taken without credit, context or responsibility, and a lot of people decided to build their entire acquisition strategy on shouting that success is easy, everything is possible and your billions are just one repost away
But here’s the real truth, and no, it’s not the fact that I suddenly started writing like GPT 5.1, although I probably spend too much time with it. The truth is that right now there are tons of companies and “independent” creators who suddenly decided that they are experts and can teach you how to live, how to build and how to succeed
So a small introduction, just to make my position clear. I’ve been a project manager, product manager, product owner, CPO, COO and now a product architect. I spent around eight years building this mindset, worked on more than a hundred successful applications, helped dozens of companies grow, and structured a massive amount of workflows, Jira projects, product strategies, retention metrics and all that boring stuff that actually makes money
So maybe, just maybe, I’ve earned the right to say this directly
If you want to gain success, build a project or create a company, you MUST work. Hard work, repeated work, boring work. There is no shortcut to the life you see on Instagram and other platforms. People who earn 3–5k+ per month are usually not thieves or scammers, they are just consistent and honest jobbers
Yes, there are creatures who earn money by affiliate marketing or by stealing content and scaling it, but even if you decide to go down that road, at least have the decency to think about what you’re doing. Read the idea, understand the process, groom it, add something personal, think how to make it better and only then produce something that has real value
One of the worst cases today is when people simply copypaste thoughts from Claude or GPT and start presenting them as their own. One thing is learning with AI or using it to formalise your ideas, and a completely different thing is trying to rule your entire life with it
Like, ok, let’s see how your average life will look when it’s based on dozens of texts fed into a massive neural network, but don’t forget one simple thing — when most people think the same way, they are not necessarily right
Nobody needs dozens of Coca-Colas, but everyone likes rum and cola, right?
And that’s basically the whole point of this post. Think. Create something of your own
Be unique
Be real
Let’s talk clarity
